Jordan & Tamara
Jordan and Tamara purchased Rose Mortuary from Tamara's parents, Roger & Gina Lori on January 1st, 2009. Tamara & Jordan have grown up in the funeral industry and have learned from the best, their family. The Lori and Vradenburg family have been serving the Coachella Valley for over 45 years. Tamara was voted young Funeral Professional Of The Year in 2001 and also served as Treasurer for the Kern County Funeral Director's Association. Together, Jordan and Tamara make a great team and are focused on maintaining a family atmosphere in the funeral home. They have four children, two boys and two girls. They have a passion for what they do and will vow to make sure that your wishes are handled in a professional manner and with the utmost respect.
Thomas Moen joined Rose Mortuary shortly after it opened in 1996. He has been married to his Wife, Dolly since 1984. They have two sons. Tom has been a licensed insurance agent since 1980 and received his Funeral Directors License in 1998. He served on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce for ten years and served as Chamber of Commerce President from 1997 to 1999. He served as President of the Orange Belt Funeral Directors Association from 2008-2009. He is active in his church and serves on several boards in our community. Tom has been a resident of Desert Hot Springs since 1979 and is known throughout the community for his signature phrase "Fit As A Fiddle And Happy As A Lark." More importantly, Tom is known for his kind service to others and our community.
Amber has 10 years experience in the funeral industry. She started her career in mortuary/coroner transport. She received her diploma from Stratford University where she studied Funeral Service Education. Amber has found her true calling in life. She had her first child, a son, in December 2014 and her second son October, 2018.
A farm girl from Nebraska, she went to airline school and landed in New York to work for an airline company for seven years. After a brief retirement to raise her children, now two grown sons, she went on to work at a funeral home in New York for nineteen years where she served as office manager for 2 of their 5 locations. She and her husband moved to Palm Springs in 1999 where she continued employment in the funeral industry. In 2005 she came to work for Rose Mortuary.
Alex is a longtime native to the Coachella Valley. She started working at Rose Mortuary & Crematory in 2020 as a Funeral Assistant. She is married and has 1 daughter. She is known for her kind and compassionate personality. She is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her family and her Chihuahua, Taquito.
Ed Sudderth joined Rose Mortuary in 2019. Ed has been a Funeral Director for 30 years and has managed large funeral homes in the Seattle, Wa. area. He loves to play all kinds of sports during his free time. Ed was a past Exhaulted Ruler for the Lakes City Elks Club #1800. He was also a special Olympics ski instructor for 7 years. He is driven to serve people and enjoys the friends he makes along the way.
